Vienna’s 6th (heavenly) Birthday Fundraiser

Why: Because SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) can happen to ANY FAMILY, it is barely known in the world among the medical community and general public (essentially, SIDS Part 2), and there is NO federal funding for SUDC-focused research

This is a fundraiser for Team Vienna’s mission to support SUDC genetic research at Boston Children’s Hospital, as part of the Robert’s Program. Vienna and her family are enrolled in this study to hopefully gain answers to why Vienna and other kids died unexpectedly.

GOAL: Support as many SUDC families as possible to complete genetic testing, therefore increasing data to uncover causes of SUDC and preventing this horrible tragedy from happening to other families.

*Every $3000 raised makes the sequencing possible for one family triad (mom, dad, deceased child).

What is SUDC?

*Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood

*SUDC is a category of death in kids 1-18 years old. The unexpected death is still unexplained after a thorough investigation, including an autopsy, medical record review and death scene investigation.

*Essentially, this is SIDS Part 2, but in kids older than 1-year-old.

About Vienna:

*Healthy sweet toddler Vienna Carly Savino tragically died at 2.8 years old on 11-12-17. She fell asleep while watching TV at home in Holmdel, NJ and never woke up. More than 3 years later, there is still no explanation.

Dr. Denise Wunderler (Vienna's mom), a sports medicine physician and USA Volleyball team physician, founded her family’s nonprofit on what should have been Vienna’s fourth birthday on January 19, 2019.

The Auction will close at the end of our event on January 20, 2021, at 9:00 PM.
By placing a bid, you are entering into a final and binding agreement to purchase the item on which you bid.
Winning Items will be shipped directly to the winner(s).
A nominal shipping fee will be added to tangible items that require a shipment.
